New single and video from SHOTGUN REVOLUTION

[bs_collapse_item title=”English” active=”active”]Since the debut in 2010 a lot has happened for SHOTGUN REVOLUTION. Hard work and dedication has made SHOTGUN REVOLUTION one of the leading hard rock bands in Denmark anno 2013.
Besides a couple of extensive tours in Denmark and a support gig for the legendary guitarist Slash, they have been playing venues worldwide stretching from some of Denmark’s biggest festivals to the legendary rock club “Bar Fly” in Camden, London (UK) and “Whisky A Go Go” on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.

In May 2013 the band released their first international album with praises from the rock press:
”Shotgun Revolution klingen modern und dennoch zeitlos und zelebrieren erstklassigen Stadionrock der Gegenwart.” (8,5/10 Rock It! DE)
“… Denmark’s next big rock pride is called Shotgun Revolution” (5/6 Scream NO)

Today the brand new single and video for “S.O.B” is released. “S.O.B” is recorded in Copenhagen by the Metallica-producer legend Flemming Rasmussen. The mix has been in the competent hands of Ben Grosse who has worked with Slipknot, Alter Bridge, Disturbed and Depeche Mode to name a few. The final touch has been done by the apprentice Ryan Smith, of the now deceased mastering wizard George Marino in Sterling Sound, New York.

Target Group well represented at Smukfest 2013

SØMÆNDENE (tidligere De Glade Sømænd) er klar med det nye album ”Vi Går Sammen Ned!”. Albummet er orkestrets første album udelukkende med originale sange. Albumtitlen ”Vi Går Sammen Ned” refererer både til, at man går sammen ned på værtshuset eller til festen, men også at man er i samme båd, også personligt. For bandet er titlen også en hilsen til deres mange fans der via et crowdfunding-projekt, der til dags dato er Danmarks mest succesfulde, samlede 175.000 kr ind til SØMÆNDENES albumindspilning.

ZJAKALEN – ”Snakker Du Til Mig?”.
ZJAKALENS debut ”Snakker Du Til Mig?” er en rutsjebanetur med følelsen af håbløshed og afmagt. Det er en fuckfinger til belærende folk, pegefingre, og til folk der fortæller dig hvad du bør og skal. Men. Med sin debut føler ZJAKALEN at det er tid til at slå tilbage, inden ligegyldigheden tager over, og han ender som et ødelagt og gennembanket ringvrag. ”Snakker Du Til Mig?” er historien om en vred ung mand der slår tilbage, og som ikke er bange for at sige lige præcis hvad han føler. ZJAKALEN er ærlig snak fra en ærlig og direkte rapper.
Et hiphop album gæstet af bl.a. Jøden og Juncker.

If you like getting sweaty to bands like Guns´N Roses, AC/DC, Buckcherry and Foo Figthers then Denmark’s SHOTGUN REVOLUTION is a band not to be missed! On May 27th the first official international SHOTGUN REVOLUTION album will be released in all of Europe!

Since the debut in 2010 a lot has happened for SHOTGUN REVOLUTION. They have been playing venues worldwide stretching from one of Denmark’s biggest festivals to the legendary rock club “Bar Fly” in Camden, London (UK) and “Whisky A Go Go” on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. Hard work and dedication has made SHOTGUN REVOLUTION one of the leading hard rock bands in Denmark anno 2013, with solid album sales and airplay.

After two album releases and one live-EP, SHOTGUN REVOLUTION are finally ready to conquer the European continent with the self-titled album. The rock train that the band started in 2010 continues with undaunted and uncompromising hard rock added lyrics that binds the past years experiences with life’s restlessness and ups and downs.

“After playing numerous concerts we got a better understanding of what Shotgun Revolution is and can be,” explains the band’s guitarist Martin Frank. “So even though the catchy guitar riffs and strong melodies always will be the foundation of SR songs, it’s also a more complete band, well-balanced in their own songs. Furthermore, I am proud to say that this album is 100% hand-played, no sound replacements, no autotune!”

In May the fast-growing Danish hard rock band INTO CENTURY will be releasing their second album “Nobody’s Slave” in Europe. The band is already well-known in MTV’s universe with two singles in rotation, furthermore “Nobody’s Slave” has been received with praises by the Danish critics.

INTO CENTURY are playing hard hitting west coast rock with metal riffs and distortion, and they are not afraid of attacking controversial issues with their songwriting. On “Man Of God” front singer Jon Century is addressing a sharp criticism to the Vatican, accusing bad apples in the Vatican of being behind the assassination of Pope John Paul the first, and crimes against humanity in the name of God. And on the title track “Nobody’s Slave” the band are focusing on human trafficking.

The shadow sides of life have been an important inspiration for the twelve intensive tracks on “Nobody’s Slave”. Some of the band members have really tried the roller coaster ride that life can throw at you, being a musician. From having lived a wild and dissolute life in Hollywood, to live on less than one dollar a day on the streets of New York.

Up till this point INTO CENTURY have played both large and small scale gigs around the world, from some of the most legendary clubs in L.A., to small venues in Copenhagen. The music channel MTV have opened their eyes to the Danish band, which has resulted in a private showcase at the channel’s headquarters in L.A. In addition, the band has two music videos in rotation on their web-based worldwide channels.

“Nobody’s Slave” is produced and mixed by Tore Nissen and Johan Wohlert (The Storm, ex-Mew) and will be released in Europe May 27th.
